Description of Service

Venusign provides an electronic signature platform that enables users to send, sign, and manage documents digitally. Our service includes document upload, signature collection, authentication, and secure storage of signed documents.

User Accounts and Registration

To use certain features of our service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

Electronic Signatures

Electronic signatures created through Venusign are legally binding under applicable laws, including:

• The Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN)
• The Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA)
• The European Union's eIDAS Regulation

You acknowledge that electronic signatures have the same legal effect as handwritten signatures for most documents, with certain exceptions as defined by law.

Subscription and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method automatically. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and your access will continue until the end of the current billing period.

Intellectual Property Rights

Venusign and its content, features, and functionality are owned by Venusign and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of documents you upload but grant us a limited license to process them for service delivery.

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use our service for illegal purposes
• Upload malicious content or malware
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Interfere with the proper functioning of our service
• Forge signatures or sign documents without authorization

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Venusign shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of our service.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Venusign and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our service or violation of these terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. You may request export of your data before account closure.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree to waive your right to participate in class actions.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the service. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
